Announcing a new partnership

Shortly before I went back to work, I purchased a neat new product for packing my lunch. Has anyone seen the new Rubbermaid Lunch Blox? I ate school food a lot last year, but because teachers in my district have to pay per item, it got to be pretty expensive. I decided I wanted to pack my lunch this year, and when I saw these things, I knew I had to have one. I ended up buying two of the sandwich size.

It was one of the best purchases I've made recently. First, the set contains a cold pack that snaps to the top of the sandwich container. Two small containers and one larger container snap to the top of the cold pack. I love this, because it fits perfectly in my lunch bag and the containers don't flip over and spill.
They look small, but truthfully, you can fit a lot. I pack a half of a cup of cottage cheese and some fruit in the sandwich container, a whole apple cut up in the larger top container, granola in one small container, and a snack size bag of baby carrots in the other small container. I'm seven months pregnant, so there is a lot of food in my lunch bag:)

Rubbermaid and I are teaming up. I'm going to be sharing lunch ideas for Lunch Blox, and I'll be giving away one of the lunch kits to one lucky reader. All you have to do is like my page on Facebook, like Rubbermaid's Facebook page, and enter the Rafflecopter below. Good luck! Results will be announced on Saturday.

Now I'm hungry and feeling the need to pack a school lunch! :)
I do love the idea of the cold pack and variety of sizes! And the square bottoms are ideal!!! They fit snug and do not topple. As I so often do with any purchase....what else can I use these for? No problem with these beauties - they are perfect for tiny quilt pieces and preparation for sewing and craft projects! :)

  2. Now there's a use I hadn't thought of :) I really love how they fit together- no food toppling over and spilling out in my bag. Spilled cottage cheese smells pretty bad, you know? :)
