Emorie: A special photo shoot

This week, I shared some very blessed news we received recently. I did it in a very neat way, or at least I thought so.

We are elated to announce our sweet girl will be a big sister somewhere around November 23. The date is special to us, since it is my dad's birthday. If you know anything about my family, then you know that my daddy is currently dealing with stage four colon cancer. He has gotten some recent good news, but he has had quite an ordeal since he was diagnosed in January 2014. 

We are grateful for this new life. Please let me take this time to show you these sweet pictures of my baby girl. These are by no means all of them, but they are my favorites. They were shot using a Nikon D5300 and in my front yard :) Nothing formal, just fun. 

Hope you like these sweet pictures! She is very photogenic and loves to have her picture taken. She is partly responsible for her outfit. I wanted her to wear the shirt, but she had to wear those shoes and the skirt. For the sake of getting some pictures of her being cute and not grumpy, I let her wear the skirt and shoes. Some things aren't worth fighting over.... and they still turned out cute :)
